Windows 7 is the Fastest Selling OS Ever!

Microsoft has announced that they have sold approximately 240 million lisences for its Windows 7 Operating System in its first year of release only, making the OS the fastest selling OS in the history of operating systems.

Well I don’t know what consumers like so much about the new Windows 7 OS, I don’t own a device that runs Windows 7 but I have used Notebooks that runs the platform and most of all I like its multitasking capabilites. I am still stucked with a Windows Vista Powered-Notebook but not for long though, getting rid of it just before my birthday on December 1st.

As to mark the success and the birthday of the Windows 7 OS, Microsoft will be releasing the Windows 7 Family Pack to the UK. The Windows 7 Family Pack allows users to install install Windows 7 Home Premium, whether 32 or 64-bit onto three different Computers, this will sync your home network via the HomeGroup option.

Never fear if you are living in the United States, Never fear as Amazon is here to the rescue, they just added the new Windows 7 Family Pack for only $129.99 which is $19.96 lower that Microsoft’s suggested price.
