Plenty of people would like to see a dislike button on Facebook. But the link currently circulating the Web is a scam.

There has been a link circulating around the web for the past couple days and Facebook users has surely been clicking on it. Probably you have seen the link too “the official dislike button on Facebook”, probably you even clicked. Unfortunately the Facebook dislike button is not officially authorized by Facebook it is nothing but a mere scam, according to Facebook.
When users click on the link, they are brought to a relatively officially looking install page, and prompted for permission to download an application, however the app points to a an existing Firefox add-on called FaceMod, [which is nothing more than a skin for the browser but has been redubbed] the ‘Facebook Dislike Button (the Original),’ but the add-on doesn’t seem to be connected to the scam.
This reminds me of the Rogue Facebook App that was on the loose a few months back. What are you thoughts on this topic, share with us.
