For a price like that there is no way I wouldn’t sell if I was the developer behind Skype. Microsoft recently acquired the company for a whopping 8.5 Billion dollar deal which I think is fair enough for the years of dedication and hard work that was put into this effort by Silver Lake.
With Microsoft being the sole-owner of the most popular way to communicate via video and voice over the internet, many users are worried that the service will probably soon be taking from platforms not owned by Microsoft. They have made it clear that Skype will continue to offer support to all all devices and platform here-on forward.
Phew!! That’s quite a relief, atleast I know we will still be able to make Skype to Skype calls from my 4G Android Smartphone. This proves as good news for Xbox gamers as this could mean a whole new way to interact with friends while gaming online. There is no doubt that Microsoft won’t start integrating Skype Technology into all its tech that has space for it but I am wondering what Google will be coming with to counter Skype!
