I think I will start developing WordPress Plugins

As you can see from the few posts over the pass few months, I have been “missing in action” blogging. If you are a daily reader of KeronCalame.com, you may be wondering why?

I was on a mission, a mission to redesign and revamp a few blogs I had laying around and also the others that makes me money as well. Before I started the revamping process, I decided to search for nice WordPress Themes, unfortunately I could not find any to my liking, so I decide to make my first Custom Blog Template and here a month later am finally finish, so I can start blogging again.

If you would like to see the custom template, check out LoopyGadgets, there are still a few tweaking need to be done, but that will take place over the next few weeks. After I completed the theme, I wanted a Plugin that showed Featured Post with an Image, however searching for a month has proven futile, so I decided to make my first Plugin, I call it the “Loopy Featured Post”, its not available for download because it needs to be cleaned up abit. You can see the “Loopy Featured Post WordPress Plugin” at work on LoopyComments, look at the trending photos on the sidebar.

During the search process, I found some really good plugins, but they need to be revamped and make them useful to WordPress bloggers. For example, while I was re-designing LoopyComments, a celebrity gossip blog, I wanted a photo gallery but all plugins I encountered had a fault, so I ended using the WordPress Gallery instead, its not a plugin but a features that can be found in WordPress.

After almost two months of redesigning 5 blogs and making two plugins, I decided its time to spread by wings way beyond blogging, because their are bloggers in need of my assistance, lol just kidding I will be developing plugins that I need, however as soon as they are perfected I will submit them to the WordPress Plugin Directory.
