If there was no Twitter, there would be no Tweetmeme. Tweetmeme is a service that helps blog and website owners to promote their online presents by using a Tweetmeme button. Once you add a Tweetmeme button on your blog/webpage, readers has the option to retweet your post on their Twitter profile thus driving more traffic to your blog.

This is a new and easy way to integrate your blog and twitter. To make it much easier for you am gonna give you the step to add the Tweetmeme button to your blog/website.

Copy and paste the following code where you want the widget to be displayed.

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://tweetmeme.com/i/scripts/button.js"></script>

When the URL is different from the current URL:

Without adding the URL you want, the script will just grab the URL of the page it is on.

<script type="text/javascript">
tweetmeme_url = 'http://yoururl.com';
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://tweetmeme.com/i/scripts/button.js"></script>

There is also a compact version that looks like this the bigger button but in a compact form, if that is what you want then copy the code below.

<script type="text/javascript">
	tweetmeme_style = 'compact';
	</script>
