Google recently launched its Map with free turn by turn navigation for Android users in Europe and now they have even sweetened the deal a bit by allowing you to overlay photos from other users into street View, giving you a new way of experiencing places in your country or half way around the world.
With the new feature, users can view any available contributed photos within the panorama of a Street View location. Unfortunately I haven’t experience the new street view feature as yet, so I am just writing from what I have read through the Blogger-sphere. However we found some screen-shots of the feature which can be seen below. Check out the feature when used to view the Eiffel Tower, and then try it at a popular tourist attraction or someplace you’ve always wanted to visit.
I give two thumbs up to google for this awesome and new way to see different people, perspectives, seasons, events and even times of day at a given spot.
