Google has released its new Chrome to Phone feature for Android (currently only Android 2.2), a tool for instantly pushing websites you’re reading on the desktop to your Android phone.
The new feature was announced at a event at Google’s offices in San Francisco, where Google’s engineer Dave Burke demonstrated the product that was designed by him.
According to Mashable Writer Ben, the feature is easy to use by simple by clicking the new mobile icon on your Chrome browser for any website that you want to bring up on your phone and the browser will push it to your handset.
The service is not limited to pushing websites, as it will also push driving directions and even phone numbers, you can simple get driving directions on Google Maps and then push it to your phone.
The service doesn’t works both ways, however the Phone to Chrome is a highly requested feature that we will be seeing soon.
Chrome to Phone is available now as both an Android app and a Google Chrome extension. Share your views on this new Google Feature.
