If you are a fan of Mashable then you will know that awesome bar that they got to the left of each post, well the guys over at DevGrow has developed a Plugin that does the just the same thing for your WordPress Blog.

The Plugin will add a dynamic and fully customizable vertical box to the left of a blog post that contains links/buttons to popular social networking sites. The plugin comes pre-loaded with buttons for Social Networking Sites including Digg, Tweetmeme, Facebook Share and Google Buzz. The great thing about this plugin is that you can delete all the pre-loaded buttons and add your own like the new Twitter Button.

Big Buttons are used in the vertical Sharebar to the left of the post, while the Small Buttons are used in the horizontal Sharebar that appears under the post title (by default) if the width of the page is less than 1000px (or whatever value you set).

The best thing about Sharebar is the ability to shrink itself into a small horizontal bar under the post title if the user’s screen is less than 1000px. Also, the plugin just works from the moment you activate it. The Plugin is presently available for download in the WordPress Plugin Directory. I know you probably saying if it is so great why isn’t it on this blog, well give me sometime to get it up because I am trying to make it look as custom as possible for my blog.

Well it is know that Apple will be having a special event on September 1st, but the question and speculations are saying that it could be a new Apple TV or it could be as well as an iTunes web service.

Speculations states that Apple will be unveiling a lightweight version of the iTunes Store on the web, one that would make it easier to share preferences over social networks, but wouldn’t include direct sharing. They are also saying that Apple could also be introducing wireless syncing which would push content between Apple’s iPhone and a computer.

Well Who Knows? September 1st, is only a few days away so we just have to wait, at-least the speculations will end soon!

Below Chitika has answered some of the Questions that you may have:

When will these ads start to display for my account?
We are rolling these ads out slowly starting with a small portion of
traffic, and then we will slowly increase this until mobile ads are live
across the entire Chitika network.

How often will they be displayed?
Mobile ads will be displayed similar to how our Select ads are displayed:
only when there is a high chance the ad will result in revenue for you. So in other words, they will not be displayed 100% of the time.

How much revenue will I earn?
Mobile earnings will depend on your mobile traffic and will work very
similar to the way you earn revenue from our regular desktop ads. There will be separate, custom reporting for mobile ads available very soon.

Do I have to make any changes for Mobile ads to be live for my site?
No. Since you already have our ad code running, Mobile ads will display
automatically without any action needed on your part.

Are you already experimenting with the new Mobile Ads? Well share your experiences with us below

Fans of the Linux-Based Operating System, Ubuntu. There is good news for you, especially for those using a computer with a multi-touch interface. Version 10.10 of Ubuntu will support multi-touch, allowing developers to create interfaces with support for ringtones and screen movements and presenting a whole new method of navigation for users.

Right at the launch of the distro, many applications will already have GTK support enabling touch, among other things, the lateral or horizontal scroll directly on the screen of the equipment. And for the Ubuntu Netbook Edition, will have an interface with support for Unity touch.

Mark Shuttleworth made the official announcement on his blog, where he explained about the novelty, stressing that to take full advantage of the technology you need equipment to support the movements of four or more fingers.

If you already have a device with support for touch and want to test, just add a repository to Ubuntu:

sudo apt-add-ppa repository: utouch-team/utouch
sudo apt-get update

A few days back Twitter officially announced the release of their Twitter Tweet Counter Button for the Web. Since then I had updated most of my blogs with the new Twitter Official Tweet Button, however after using it for approximately two weeks am missing the old Retweet Button from Tweetmeme.

Since I integrated the Tweet Button to my blogs I have encounter numerous issues with the button, I guess it is still in the Beta Version. I am facing issues such as Tweet is stucked at “0″ even though readers are retweeting and the worst thing I don’t like, it only tweets the URL of an article and not the title, like the Tweetmeme Retweet Button does.

You may be enjoying it but I am not. If you would like to Integrate the new Twitter Button to your Blog, then simply go to the Tweet Button Page to get the codes.

There has been a link circulating around the web for the past couple days and Facebook users has surely been clicking on it. Probably you have seen the link too “the official dislike button on Facebook”, probably you even clicked. Unfortunately the Facebook dislike button is not officially authorized by Facebook it is nothing but a mere scam, according to Facebook.

When users click on the link, they are brought to a relatively officially looking install page, and prompted for permission to download an application, however the app points to a an existing Firefox add-on called FaceMod, [which is nothing more than a skin for the browser but has been redubbed] the ‘Facebook Dislike Button (the Original),’ but the add-on doesn’t seem to be connected to the scam.

This reminds me of the Rogue Facebook App that was on the loose a few months back. What are you thoughts on this topic, share with us.

More and more people are realising that blogging is one of the best ways to start your own online business. It requires next to nothing to start up and with dedication you can build an impressive and loyal readership over time and if you learn how to monetize your blogs just right you will be making more money that your day job pays in no time.

Blogging is one of the easiest jobs you could ever find that brings in a decent income that will keep on coming even on the days when you don’t update your blog and the trick is to build loyal readership. There are several way you can get started by setting up a blog online, there are free services such as WordPress, Blogger and LiveJournal or you could set up your blog using a domain name of your choice.

However, if you want to make some serious money from blogging, you must have full control your blog and that is why I recommend setting up your own blog under your own domain name because that will never happen with a free blogging account from any of the services listed above. Being bound to their terms and conditions you will not be able to actively promote anything thus you loosing out on alot of money making opportunities, sometimes your blog is removed as soon as you violate one of their terms.

To start your blog under a domain is pretty simply, first you need a domain name which cost a mere $10-$15 per year and a mere $60 per year to host your blog. Do the math thats just $75 per year and you are in total freedom. If you are dedicated to your blog, within a year you could be making 20 times your start up cost.

Once you have got hosting and a good domain name, you are on your way. Now all you have to do is choose a good theme and layout for it. You might find one that relates to your choice of subject (more on that in a moment) or else there might be one you just like the look of. There are thousand of templates available (FREE) simply do a search on Google.

The most difficult part of blogging is deciding what you are going to blog about. Some people blog about their occupation; blog about their hobbies; some will blog about weight loss, Real Estate and some even blog about the world of Celebrities. Whatever you choose it must be something you are passionate about or else you will loose interest and your blog will die (literally). Remember you will be writing about this topic several times a week, and if you don’t have the enthusiasm for it, that will show in your posts and people won’t have the enthusiasm to read them.

Now that you have gotten your blog up, it is time to start write post and remember the more often you blog the faster you will see your blog grow. If it is possible to write five post per day, do it. Some people only write a paragraph or two each time, but you’ll get better results if you go for something a little longer than a paragraph or two. A post with 450 words is considered a good post, but remember to spell check and avoid making grammatical errors.

One you have gotten a few posts up, then you will need to let readers know about your blog and one of the most popular ways to do this is by submitting your articles to as many social bookmarking sites as possible. You can also join social networking sites and build a profile which contains a link to your blog. There are other ways you can generate traffic to your blog, but I will tell you in an upcoming post.

Now you got your blog you can start monetizing it yourself. Google Adsense is one of the most popular method to start off with, there are other sites such as Chitika, Clicksor and a lot more to choose from.

So thats about it, I have just gave you all you need to know to start your blog, What else you need assistance with? Leave a comment below if you have any.

I guess with new browsers like Google’s Chrome and FireFox 4 could be launched soon, Microsoft is trying to keep up with the trend. According to word on the internet, Microsoft is prepping to announced the Beta Version of their Internet Explorer 9 on September 15th at a press event in San Francisco.

Early builds of IE9 have been floating around the internet for a while, but the most up-to-date beta builds and builds that are probably considered too buggy for public consumption, have been reserved only for Microsoft beta testers.

The beta version of the browser will probably be real close to the final version while will be launched at an unannounced date. I am expecting it to have a bunch of personalization features and in my opinion I think Microsoft is gonna try to out do the Google Chrome Browser which seem to be a crowd favorite at the moment.

Steven Slater posted $2500 bail last night, the attendant’s attorney said that his client has been stressed because his mother is ill with lung cancer. According to the lawyer, everything started when two female passengers got into a dispute over the overhead bins. It was at this point, says the lawyer, that the attendant was hit in the head with the bag.

When the plane arrived at JFK, it all started again when the one woman whose bag had to be gate-checked became upset that she wouldn’t be getting her bag back immediately. “The woman was outraged and cursed him out a great deal,” said the attorney for the attendant. “At some point, I think he just wanted to avoid conflict with her.”

The complaint states that the cost to JetBlue of replacing the emergency slide is at least $25,000.
