Farmville is a social game developed by Zynga and available on social networks including Facebook and as an app for the iPhone. The game was launched in June of 2009 and within a matter of few months it became one of the most popular applications on Facebook, totaling 10 million users in the first month after it was launched.

With the FarmVille Game, players can grow crops, raise animals, put up buildings, and visit other players’ environments, while earning coins to “unlock” items that help them advance. Users also have the option to purchase coins and farmville cash through paypal credit cards, and mobile phones to use for expanding their farms, buying bigger barns etc.

Planting Farmville Crops

You can either chose the multi-tool and click on any piece of plowed land which will then pop up the market where you will need to select the type of seed you want to plant. You can choose from a variety of seeds including Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, Aloe Vera, Pumpkin, Tomatoes, Sugar Cane, Rice and many other seeds. Once you do this you can then keep clicking on plowed areas and planting the same type of seed. You can also start planting by clicking on the marketplace and then selecting a type of seeds. Then clicking on any open piece of plowed land.

Harvesting Crops

For harvesting you can simply use the multi-tool and click on each square which is ready to harvest. You can also by the Harvester which can harvest 4 squares at a time. You can also use the multi-tool to harvest individual animals and trees. A milk barn is available which you can add up to 20 cows. You can click on this single barn and harvest all 20 cows at once. A chicken coop is available which allows you to keep 20 chickens. You can click on this single coop and harvest all 20 chickens at once.
