My daily ramblings has taken me to the City of Charlotte located in the State of North Carolina. It can be found in the Mecklenburg County and the city happens to be the largest city in the U.S. state of North Carolina. According to Wikipedia, Charlotte’s 2010 population is estimated to be 756,912 and claims to be the 18th largest city in the United States.
Since I got here, I have been toured around the city four times, and during these tours, it also came to me that Charlotte is also known as the Queen City, Charlotte and the county containing it are named in honor of the German Princess Charlotte of Mecklenburg, who had become queen consort of British King George III the year before the city’s founding.

Not much Jamaicans are here, when compared to Florida however, there is a Golden Krust Jamaican Bakery here and there are some things of my interest such as the NASCAR Hall of Fame. I have always been somewhat obsessed with NASCAR racing since I was a child, the obsession isn’t as strong as when I was younger but I still got some interest in the sport.
I have to give this City the tag “Green City”, no other city I have visited in the United States has so much trees. The airport is also the biggest I have seen ever, as I am on the topic of Airports, this also happens to be the State the “Wright Brothers” piloted the first powered airplane 20 feet above the ground, first flight in History.
Have you ever been to Charlotte? If Yes, What do you think about the city?
